The poor dog suffered from an upset stomach and was infested with fleas. She could barely stand on her own anymore. Nevertheless, Maya’s adoptive mother visited her every day, bringing a ray of hope into her life. The simple act of care and attention brought a slight improvement to the poor dog’s spirits.
