Rolls-Royce Motor Cars announced on the 21st that it unveiled the Black Badge Race ‘Black Arrow’ collection, a tribute to Bespoke to commemorate the race that is about to be discontinued.
Black Arrow
The Black Arrow, which is produced in a limited number of 12 units worldwide, is the most powerful model in Rolls-Royce history and is a bespoke collection commemorating the discontinuation of ‘The Wraith’, which has brought about a tremendous change in the brand’s history Since its first launch in 2013. It is also the last V12 engine coupe model produced by Rolls-Royce ahead of its transition to a purely electric brand and was produced based on the Black Badge Race, which represents Rolls-Royce’s strong driving performance and bold expression.

Elements inspiration
First, elements inspired by the legendary model ‘Thunderbolt’ were reflected throughout the interior and exterior of Black Arrow. The Thunderbolt is a 1938 Rolls-Royce V12 ‘R’ series aircraft engine, and it is a model that set the world record for the highest speed of a car while running in the Bonneville Salt Desert, Utah, USA. The collection’s name, ‘Black Arrow’, is derived from the huge black arrow engraved on the side of the Thunderbolt for quick identification at the time of recording.
Black Badge
“The Black Badge Wraith Black Arrow, inspired by the 1930s V12 engine Thunderbolt, symbolizes the pinnacle of Rolls-Royce achievements and marks the end of an era,” said Thorsten Müller-Otbosch, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. “To embody the great spirit of Wraith in this collection, we mobilized all of Rolls-Royce’s bespoke capabilities,” he said.
Meanwhile, all 12 Black Badge Race Black Arrow Collections released this time has been assigned to customers.
