Polestar released ‘Polestar 2 BST edition 270’ last year. And on the 21st (local time), the new limited-edition EV ‘Polestar 2 BST Edition 230’ was unveiled, attracting attention.

Considering the last BST edition 270, the number ‘230’ in the vehicle’s model name means the production volume. The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 will become more rare and only 230 units will be mass-produced.

Vehicle’s powertrain
The vehicle’s powertrain remains the same as before. The vehicle combines the 78kWh battery and performance pack mounted on the Polestar 2 long-range dual motor to generate a maximum output of 469 horsepower and a maximum torque of 69.34 kg m. The vehicle can reach 0→100 km/h in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of about 204 km/h. The longest mileage of the vehicle is 461.88 km, which is less than that of the long-distance model.
The body of the new vehicle is the same as Polestar 2 BST Edition 2. And the ground clearance has been lowered by 25mm, and Ohlin’s two-way adjustable damper and front strut bar have been applied. The springs are also 20% stiffer, and the vehicle has 21-inch alloy wheels inspired by Polestar 1. In addition, Pirelli P Zero tires specially developed for the BST Edition were applied.

The Polestar 2 BST Edition 230 is finished in a new green color, and a recycled suede finish is applied to the interior. A black exterior finish color is offered as an option, and the long center stripe of the vehicle can be selected in black or green.
The limited edition vehicle is currently on sale in Europe and North America, including the UK, at £73,900 (approximately KRW 118.45 million). Orders can be made on the official Polestar website, and deliveries are expected to begin in September.
