Etta’s early life was a testament to her fighting spirit.
Despite the grim prognosis from veterinarians, she never gave up.
Gradually, Etta began to crawl, and in a few months, she achieved what seemed impossible – she stood and walked.
This milestone was a joyous, emotional moment for everyone involved in her care, witnessing a miracle in motion.
Adaptation and Growth
As Etta grew stronger, her appetite increased, and she soon developed into a robust 100-pound Great Dane.
The introduction of prosthetics marked another significant chapter in her life, aiding her mobility and allowing her to walk normally.

Becoming Part of the Family
Originally, Kathryn intended to foster Etta until she found a permanent home.
However, Etta’s remarkable personality and the bond she formed with the other puppies at the facility made it impossible to let her go.
